But the one I bought from the store was a new version that couldn't do a lot of things when it came to modding that the original could. They started to fall off, and once they hit the 360 and ps3 they were total crap. They just made it to get into the MMA thing because it's become so big. They put no time or effort into it anymore. Only reason 12 was so good is because of ppl exposing them on youtube, and the threat of 2k football coming back. They were the same recycled crap that played like a bad arcade football game. Look at all the maddens before 12 on the 360 and ps3. I don't consider EA a game designer anymore. If you were a game designer, and author, or any other thing like that, would you want your work stolen? BioWare designed the game, and they deserve every cent they can get. I hate EA, but they didn't design the game. I hate Origin too, but there's no way I would ever steal anything, which is what illegally acquiring the game is. But I find the files for the games without torrents. That's why I don't mind pirating an EA game. Only time will tell if it really takes the series to the next level, but it's at least taking the steps to fix issues that fans have been annoyed with.NFLVICK7 wrote:Origin is a rip. It's less about competing to drop a stack of in-game cash on a player and more about making the best offer that feels reasonable and not just making ridiculous bids. Now, the game won't let you see other players' bids or exactly where yours lands compared to other bids.
Thankfully, according to GameSpot, Madden NFL 23 seeks to address this matter in a rather clever way. It's a pretty classic tactic for eBay users, but is incredibly aggravating in a video game which could in theory prevent things like this. Players have realized that, although there are scheduled times to bid on these things, it doesn't really matter so long as you come in slightly over at the very last second. One of the issues in Madden stems from Franchise Mode and bidding on free agents.
